SERVPRO of Charlottesville has added Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup, and Viral Pathogen Disinfecting services to our biohazard cleanup repertoire, for preventative and confirmed cases of COVID-19.

Viruses, mold (fungi), parasites, and bacteria bio-pollutants, found in contaminated water and air, can cause serious health and safety issues. For example, E.coli and Salmonella, which can be found in sewage, can cause serious health problems.

Not fully removing these biohazardous threats, or not removing them properly, can make your home or business a risky environment. Customer and employee safety are very important to us.

  • As an IICRC Certified Firm, and a “Lead-safe Firm”, with OSHA-10 safety training, we are continuously updating our skills, knowledge, certifications, and promoting a safe work environment for our employees and customers. We use biohazard cleanup methods that are compliant with CDC, EPA, OSHA and local health regulations.
  • SERVPRO of Charlottesville has the training, experience, protective gear, and high-tech, specialized equipment necessary to safely clean and restore this type of contamination.
  • We have an excellent reputation, and are recommended by local insurance adjusters, agents, and property managers.

Treat any biohazard with caution:

  • Stay out of affected areas
  • Don’t touch, disturb, or direct fans on the contamination. This will release spores, viruses and spread the contaminants
  • Call SERVPRO of Charlottesville in situations where biological, chemical, or viral contaminants are found.

Please refer to our Biohazard Emergency Tips - Until Help Arrives Guide and follow these tips to protect yourself and your property.
